The weather will remain mostly clear, although locally increased cloud cover is expected to develop during the afternoon and may produce brief, isolated rainfall over higher elevations.

Temperatures will rise to:

  • 39C inland
  • Around 32C on the southwest and west coasts
  • Around 35C on the remaining coastal areas
  • 29C in the higher mountains

Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3-4 Beaufort, strengthening locally to 4-5 Beaufort later in the day.

The sea will be calm to slightly rough.

Tonight, conditions will remain mostly clear.

Temperatures will drop to:

  • 22C inland
  • Around 24C on the south and east coasts
  • Around 23C on the west and north coasts
  • 20C in the higher mountains

Outlook

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear.

However, periods of increased cloud cover are likely to develop during the afternoon hours and may bring isolated showers over mountainous areas.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly during the three-day period and will remain slightly above seasonal averages.
