The weather will remain mostly clear today and on Saturday, with temperatures staying close to seasonal averages.

Friday

Conditions will be mainly fine, although increased cloud cover is expected in places during the afternoon.

Temperatures will reach:

  • 30C inland
  • 30C along the south and east coasts
  • 28C on the remaining coastal areas
  • 20C in the higher mountains

Winds will initially be northwesterly to northeasterly before becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, at 3 to 4 Beaufort.

The sea will be slight.

Tonight

The weather will remain mostly clear.

Temperatures will fall to:

  • 16C inland
  • 18C on the coast
  • 10C in the higher mountains

Winds will become mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 3 to 4 Beaufort, while the sea will be calm to slight.

Saturday

Saturday is expected to remain mostly sunny across the island.

Sunday and Monday

Weather conditions will initially be mostly clear on both days, but locally increased cloud cover during the afternoon is expected to bring isolated showers or thunderstorms.

The greatest likelihood of rainfall will be:

  • the mountains
  • inland areas
  • northern parts of the island

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly and will remain around average climatic values for the season.
