President Nikos Christodoulides said on Tuesday that the executive branch has “absolutely no involvement” in the high-profile “Sandy” case.
Asked by a journalist, as he arrived at an event presenting the new tourism development strategy of the Paralimni-Deryneia Municipality, whether developments were expected in the case following a meeting at the Legal Service, the President said he did not know whether there would be any updates.
“As the executive branch, I do not know whether there will be developments or not. We have absolutely no involvement in this specific matter,” he said.
“As with all issues, we are waiting to see what decisions will be taken by the Legal Service,” President Christodoulides added.
