Blue or black ballpoint pens will be available inside polling booths at all polling stations for the House of Representatives elections, the Chief Returning Officer announced on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, voters must use pens in one of these two colours when casting their ballot.
If a voter marks the ballot paper with a pen of any other colour, the ballot will be considered invalid.
The Chief Returning Officer therefore urged all voters to use the pens provided inside the polling booths, in order to protect the validity of their vote.
