A new YouGov poll suggests Nigel Farage's Reform UK has fallen behind the Conservatives, while Labour retains a narrow lead.

Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, has slipped to third place in a new UK opinion poll, marking one of the party's weakest performances since the 2024 general election.

According to a YouGov survey published by The Times, Reform UK stands at 21%, down from about 28% last summer.

Conservatives rebound

The Conservative Party, led by Kemi Badenoch, has risen three percentage points to 23%, overtaking Reform UK.

The Times linked the improvement to the party's recent conference and Badenoch's economic and tax policy announcements, which appear to have strengthened Conservative support.

Labour remains ahead

The poll shows Labour, led by Prime Minister Andy Burnham, continuing to hold first place on 24%.

The remainder of the standings are:

  • Labour: 24%
  • Conservatives: 23%
  • Reform UK: 21%
  • Liberal Democrats: 12%
  • Greens: 11%

Competitive political landscape

The figures point to an increasingly competitive political environment, with Labour maintaining a slim lead while the Conservatives recover support and Reform UK loses momentum after a period of stronger polling.
