Cyprus' Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos is travelling on Saturday to the United States for a working visit.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay in Washington Kombos will participate in the Delphi Economic Forum as a speaker in roundtable discussions focusing on the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU, Cyprus–US relations, transatlantic relations, as well as international and regional developments.
In addition, Kombos will participate in a discussion organised by the Arab Gulf States Institute (AGSI) on the role of the Republic of Cyprus in the wider Middle East region and the promotion of cooperation with Gulf states during the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.
Moreover, in the framework of his working visit, the Foreign Minister will hold meetings with members of the United States Senate, as well as with US officials.
