Christodoulides And Erhürman To Meet On April 6, UN Says

Meeting to take place at the UN-protected residence of the mission chief with no media access.

The President of the Republic of Cyprus and Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman have agreed to meet on Monday, April 6, according to an announcement issued by the United Nations.

The meeting will take place at the residence of the Head of Mission within the United Nations protected area and will be hosted by the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Cyprus, Khassim Diagne.

According to the UN statement, media access will not be permitted. Only official photographic and audiovisual material from both sides will be released.

Regarding the timing of the meeting, information suggests it is likely to take place in the morning, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
