Tragedy in Yermasoyia: 27 Year Old Woman from Colombia Confirmed Dead, Police Say

Police have confirmed information that a 27 year old Colombian national is among the victims of the collapse of a two storey building in Limassol.

The confirmation was given to ANT1 Cyprus by Lefteris Kyriakou, Assistant Police Director of Limassol.

The victim has been identified as Leonella Aleman Morales. According to information provided, her body has been formally identified.

Earlier, media outlets in Colombia reported that her family had been informed by the country’s Honorary Consulate in Cyprus of the identification.

It is recalled that in recent days the 27 year old woman’s family had been seeking information about her whereabouts, while the last signal from her mobile phone had been traced to the apartment building in the Yermasoyia area.
