March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, and EndoMarch Cyprus is participating in the global Worldwide EndoMarch movement for the 11th consecutive year. Cyprus joins forces with 75 other countries, advocating for early diagnosis and proper management of endometriosis, a painful chronic gynaecological condition affecting between 400 million and 1.5 billion women worldwide.

The non-profit organisation EndoMarch Cyprus is once again developing targeted initiatives and events this year, aiming to highlight the reality of endometriosis, make visible the impact women face, and emphasise the importance of accurate information and early diagnosis. The scientific direction of the initiative is led by Campaign President Dr. Andreas Stavroulis, Gynecologist and Founder of the Endometriosis & Fertility Center at the American Medical Center, who actively contributes to the awareness interventions.

Know Her Truth. Hear Her Story.

Two compelling photography exhibitions in Nicosia and Limassol demonstrate that behind every smile, there are two faces and a singular truth. Through authentic portraits of eight actresses, the often unseen aspects that influence the lives of women living with endometriosis are brought to the forefront.

The experiential exhibitions are accompanied by the storytelling video series Know Her Truth. Hear Her Story, featuring eight acclaimed actresses—Margarita Zachariou, Antonia Charalambous, Polyxeni Savva, Marina Mandri, Marina Vronti, Eleni Sidera, Marina Makri and Niki Dragoumi—who bring to life, through their voices and powerful performances, the true stories of women, conveying their testimonies with respect and sensitivity.

The EndoMarch Cyprus campaign events, with NUROFEN as Strategic Partner, are held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and will take place on 13 March at 18:30 at the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation in Nicosia and on 20 March at 18:30 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol.

Let’s Talk Openly About Endometriosis

The campaign’s activities will conclude with an open online discussion with Dr. Andreas Stavroulis on 26 March at 18:00, where complications, treatment options, and the latest developments related to endometriosis will be presented. Beyond the scientific data, women will openly share their personal experiences.

The EndoMarch Cyprus Campaign is organised and implemented by Avaton Communications, which coordinates communication, publicity, and creative development.
