Lidl Cyprus and the Cyprus Red Cross Society offer care and hope for Easter

For yet another year, the company supports the multifaceted work of the Cyprus Red Cross Society, proving, along with Carolina Pelendritou, that even the smallest gesture has great value.

Lidl Cyprus, faithful to its long-standing commitment to social contribution, joins forces with the Cyprus Red Cross Society once again this year, transforming the Easter festive season into a large chain of humanitarian support.

Specifically, from Thursday 26 March until Holy Saturday 11 April 2026, with each scan of the Lidl Plus digital card, Lidl Cyprus will donate €0.15 to the Cyprus Red Cross Society. The total donation will be allocated to support the Disaster Management Service, which directly contributes to providing assistance to our fellow human beings affected by natural disasters or other emergencies.

In this year's campaign, the camera takes us backstage at a shoot with Paralympic Swimming Champion and Lidl Cyprus Ambassador, Carolina Pelendritou. When the director asks her if she has “5 more minutes” for a final shot, Carolina replies with a warm smile that she has “much more... she has 15!” This spontaneous moment becomes the bridge for the central message of the campaign: 15 cents can make a difference.

This initiative is a continuation of a stable collaboration that aims to support the most vulnerable members of our society. With consistency and responsibility, Lidl Cyprus continues to give back to society, highlighting the importance of collective effort.

The public can contribute to this effort in their own way by scanning the Lidl Plus digital card, through the application, which can be downloaded for free from the App Store, Google Play or Huawei App Gallery and by quickly and easily registering.
