Greece is emerging as a strong contender in Eurovision betting trends, according to the latest data from Oddschecker, with a notable surge in betting activity despite Finland maintaining its position as the leading favourite.
Greece leads betting activity
Over the past 24 hours, Greece has attracted the highest share of bets, accounting for 21% of total activity. This places it ahead of all other entries in terms of public support, even though its odds remain at 7/1.
The figures suggest a growing divergence between statistical forecasts and audience sentiment, with bettors increasingly favouring perceived value rather than the most likely outcome.
Finland remains the favourite
Finland continues to hold the top position in overall predictions, with an estimated 40% probability of winning the contest. Despite this, the volume of bets indicates that confidence among participants is shifting towards alternative options.
Countries such as Denmark and France maintain strong positions in the rankings but are not matching Greece’s current pace in betting support.
Rising interest in outsiders
At the same time, a group of countries considered outsiders, including Malta, Sweden and Romania, is gaining traction. Together, they account for 21% of daily betting distribution, pointing to a more fragmented market as the contest approaches.
Romania stands out in particular, with odds of 25/1 while attracting comparable betting interest to higher-ranked countries, indicating expectations of a potential surprise result.
Cyprus falls outside top ten
Cyprus has shown a downward trend in recent days and is now positioned outside the top ten, currently ranking 12th in betting odds.
The latest data reflects a shifting landscape in Eurovision betting, with public sentiment playing an increasingly influential role alongside statistical projections.
