Cyprus completed its participation in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2026 on Thursday night, with Antigoni Buxtontaking the stage in Vienna with the song “Jalla”. The Cypriot entry competed alongside 13 other countries for one of the final ten places in Saturday’s grand final.

Antigoni Buxton performed during the live broadcast from the Wiener Stadthalle arena, with viewers across Europe now waiting for the official results of the public vote.
The countries competing in Thursday’s semi-final were:

- Romania
- Luxembourg
- Czech Republic
- Armenia
- Switzerland
- Cyprus
- Latvia
- Denmark
- Australia
- Ukraine
- Albania
- Malta
- Norway
France, Austria and the United Kingdom also appeared during the show despite already qualifying automatically for the final.
Anna Vissi Publicly Supported Cyprus Entry
Earlier, Anna Vissi publicly wished Antigoni Buxton good luck during a live performance appearance. Addressing the singer from the stage, Vissi described “Jalla” as “a beautiful song” and praised the official video clip.
Rehearsal Videos Circulated Before the Show
Ahead of the semi-final, videos from Cyprus’ rehearsal performance circulated online through TikTok and other social media platforms. The staging featured Antigoni Buxton dressed in white and accompanied by four dancers during the performance.
Results Expected Later Tonight
The official qualification results are expected later on Thursday night following the conclusion of voting.
Cyprus is seeking a place in Saturday’s Eurovision 2026 grand final alongside the countries that already qualified from the first semi-final.
