Motorcyclist, 30, Critically Injured in Peyia Crash

The rider suffered a serious head injury and fractured shoulder blade after losing control of his motorcycle.

 

A 30-year-old man is in a critical condition following a motorcycle crash in the Paphos district on Friday morning. He was transferred to a private clinic in Limassol after initially receiving treatment at Paphos General Hospital.

Motorcycle overturned

According to police, the man was riding along Papandrea Papageorgiou Street at around 9.30am when, under circumstances being investigated, he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned on the road.

He was taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital before being transferred to a private clinic in Limassol, where he remains in a critical condition.

Doctors said the 30-year-old suffered a serious head injury and a fractured shoulder blade.

Police investigation

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated by Peyia Police Station.
