Armida Editions announced the launch of Holy Transmemberings, the new poetry collection by Cypriot poet and performer Maria Konstantí, at an event to be held on Wednesday 3 December at 18:30 at Kafeneio Prozac.
According to the publisher, the collection approaches the relationship between body, memory and mythopoetic storytelling with boldness and precision. Drawing inspiration from the archetype of the Night Sea Journey, Konstantí constructs a poetic terrain where the body becomes landscape, underworld and cradle — a site of transformation, dissolution and renewal. Through sensory imagery and writing that balances the personal with the primordial, Holy Transmemberings illuminates the subterranean movements of language and human experience.
The presentation will feature contributions by Despina Pyrketti, editor of the edition, and the author herself.
Maria Konstantí is a Cypriot poet and performer based in Berlin.
