Cyprus Unveils “JALLA” as Its Eurovision 2026 Entry

The public broadcaster has released the official music video for Cyprus’ Eurovision song, marking the country’s formal start to the competition that will take place in Vienna this May.

Cyprus has officially launched its participation in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, presenting the song JALLA performed by Antigoni. The entry was unveiled during the main evening news bulletin of the Radio Broadcasting Corporation of Cyprus, setting the tone for the country’s Eurovision journey this year.

The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation introduced the Cypriot entry during its central television news bulletin. The presentation marked the first official public airing of JALLA and coincided with the release of the song’s official music video.

Eurovision 2026 in Vienna

The Eurovision Song Contest will be held on 12, 14 and 16 May 2026 in Vienna, following Austria’s victory with JJ and the song Wasted Love. Cyprus will compete in the second half of the second semi final on 14 May, which will be broadcast live by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation.

Artistic direction of the music video

The official video clip reflects the artistic identity of the Cypriot entry, combining contemporary visual aesthetics with strong rhythm and imagery that highlights the song’s character and energy. Filming took place in Cyprus, blending natural landscapes with a modern creative approach by the production team.

Alongside its television premiere, the music video has been made available online through official digital platforms, allowing audiences in Cyprus and abroad to view and share it. The song JALLA is released by Minos EMI Universal.

Cyprus’ semi final appearance

Antigoni will represent Cyprus with JALLA in the second half of the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 14 May 2026. The live broadcast will be carried by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation.
