Connecting stories from Famagusta to Limassol

The Interwoven Narratives Hub will present a series of cultural events this September in Limassol (20/09) and Famagusta (23/09), showcasing an alternative printed guide and map of the Famagusta–Paralimni region, two short films featuring local cooks and their personal journeys, and two immersive audio walks that geolocate refugee memories in the urban landscape, offering the public a multi-sensory exploration of Cyprus’s hidden stories and shared spaces.

The Cypriot staging of Euripides’ Iphigenia in Tauris, directed by Onisiforos Onisiforou, returns to light the power of memory, friendship, and sisterly love with its final performance set for Thursday, 25 September 2025, at 20:30, at Pattihio Municipal Amphitheatre in Larnaca. Tickets are available online or by calling 99 174195 and 99 468382 for reservations and queries. 

Unveiling hidden desires at Queer Wave Cyprus

At this year’s Queer Wave Cyprus, the NiMAC screen will host two poignant short films: In the Mood for Food by Alexandros Mahlouzaridis‑Sialit and Tsikitiglon, The Fairy and The Lad by Marios Mettis. Both whisper tales of desire, hidden identity, and human vulnerability; the first plays on Sunday, 14/9 at 19:00, and the latter on Thursday, 18/9 at 19:00 at NiMAC in Nicosia.
