Space Science Street Festival Lands in Nicosia Tonight

CSEO teams up with Cyprus Comic Con and the Research and Innovation Foundation for a public space celebration during COSPAR 2025.

The Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation (CSEO), in partnership with Cyprus Comic Con and the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), is hosting the Space Science Street Festival in Nicosia today as part of the COSPAR 2025 Global Space Symposium.

The festival starts at 7:00 pm and is open to all. Venues: Dimarchias (Town Hall) Square and the CSEO Space Outreach Centre.

Guests include Hungarian astronaut Gyula Cserenyi from the HUNOR programme, COSPAR President Pascale Ehrenfreund, and CSEO President George Danos. Space agency experts and “rocket scientists” from NASA, ESA, JAXA, AIAA and United Launch Alliance will be on hand to answer questions.

Explore exhibits from the HUNOR astronaut programme, celestial art from the Moon Gallery Foundation, and a miniature display of the Cypriot installation “From Khirokitia to Mars,” shown at the 2023 Venice Biennale. Expect live music, food trucks and a visual fire dance show.
