Nicosia International Festival 2025 - “Michael Kohlhaas” by Yugoslav Drama Theatre

ArtCargo Festival 2025 Limassol

When & Where: Runs 1-15 November 2025; this weekend (15 Nov) is the last day for many outdoor events. Locations include Molos promenade, Old Town and public squares in Limassol.https://artcargofest.com/

A two-week festival transforming the city into a living stage theatre, new circus, media art and site-specific performances, many free and outdoors.

Ideal for a more relaxed, open-air cultural experience. Great if you prefer strolling through installations, being surprised by performance popping up in unexpected places, or enjoying something free and inclusive.

Because many events are outdoors and free, arrive early to secure a good vantage spot, and check whether a given event requires registration.

“Dr Strangelove” screening by STYX Film Encounters

Part of the “System Breakdown” series by STYX Film Encounters, the film is Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Stanley Kubrick, a satirical look at Cold War logic and military bureaucracy.

Ticket Price: €5 per film.This is a fantastic opportunity to see a classic film on the big screen in a cinema-forum style event, complete with discussion afterward. Ideal if you appreciate cinema history and want more than just passive viewing, a communal and curated screening experience.

Larnaca Biennale 2025 - “Along Lines and Traces”

A concert-style stage show by Technopolis 20 with orchestra and singers performing famous love themes from films and musicals in rock arrangements.

A perfect choice if you enjoy cinematic music but want something more energetic than a traditional classical concert. The rock arrangements give familiar film themes a fresh, dynamic edge, making it ideal for a fun night out. It’s also one of the few large-scale, polished stage events in Paphos this weekend; great atmosphere, strong performers, and an easy crowd-pleaser whether you're going with friends, a date, or family.
