As the festive season reaches its stride, the island’s Christmas villages continue to draw visitors with lights, markets and winter activities. Alongside these ongoing attractions, this weekend brings a series of one-day and multi-day events, from charity fairs to tree-lighting ceremonies and major festivals. Here is a guide to what is happening across Cyprus.

Handmade In Cyprus Christmas Market, Nicosia

Friday 29 November – Saturday 30 November | 11:30–21:30

Eleftheria Square

The heart of Nicosia transforms into a vibrant Christmas village with a curated handmade market, creative workshops, food stalls, live performances and festive entertainment. Entry is free. The market continues on selected dates throughout December and early January.

Chef’s Odyssey Food Festival, Limassol

ETKO, Limassol

A large-scale gastronomic celebration featuring more than 20 international cuisines, fine dining experiences, family-friendly areas, workshops, cocktail stations and two music stages. The Coca-Cola Christmas Corner and Santa’s Truck add a festive touch.

Christmas Street Festival, Engomi

Saturday 29 November | 10:30–20:30

28th October Avenue, outside Mall of Engomi

A full-day Christmas celebration with a festive market, Santa parade, interactive workshops, mascots, stilt walkers, children’s activities, live music, a tree-lighting ceremony and a concert by Hermaphrodite’s Child (Greece).

Saturday 29 November

PASYKAF Christmas Charity Fair, Nicosia

10:00–17:00 | Pavilion, Anthia Hall, Lakatamia

A festive day dedicated to families, featuring handmade items, home-baked treats, the official PASYKAF 2026 charm, children’s activities, live music and a visit from Santa. Entry: €5 including coffee, treats and participation in a prize draw. Free for children up to 12. All proceeds support PASYKAF services and programmes.

Christmas Tree Lighting, Vouni

18:00 | Vouni village centre

The village welcomes residents and visitors for the annual lighting of the Christmas tree, accompanied by music, drinks and festive treats.

City of Larnaca Christmas Tree Lighting

17:30 | Europe Square, Larnaca

The city inaugurates its festive décor with a ceremony led by the Mayor of Larnaca, followed by performances from the Municipal Children’s Philharmonic, the Municipal Children’s Choir (featuring Stefani Krasa), the Municipal Vocal Ensemble, and local ballet and dance schools. The evening concludes with the concert The Party Goes On by Paschalis.

Christmas Tree Lighting, Limassol

Time TBC | Grigori Afxentiou Square, Limassol

Limassol officially launches its festive programme with the illumination of the city’s Christmas tree and a rich artistic programme designed to spread seasonal cheer.

Christmas Village at the Marina

11:00–20:00 | Marina, Cyprus

Operating on weekends from 29 November to 28 December, with additional festive days on 24 and 26 December, the Christmas Village transforms the Marina into a glowing holiday setting filled with decorated wooden cabins, warm treats and countless lights. Visitors can enjoy family activities, festive flavours and a cosy atmosphere that blends childhood excitement with seasonal nostalgia, creating a premium Christmas experience that feels truly special.
