Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has weighed in on the search for the next 007, highlighting Callum Turner as one of the actors he believes could take on the iconic role.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, Brosnan said he is eager to learn who will be chosen to succeed Daniel Craig, adding that he now follows developments as an interested observer.
"I'm just a spectator now. I'm simply the man in the street waiting to see who takes on this epic role in cinema history."
While expressing admiration for all the actors linked to the role, Brosnan made special mention of Turner, with whom he previously worked.
"Callum Turner is someone I've worked with, and he's very dynamic."
Brosnan added that many of the actors reportedly under consideration possess the voice, physical presence and confidence required for the role, and said they have the potential for long careers in the film industry.
