Cyprus Tourism Revenue Reaches €75 Million in January

Annual growth of 7.8% recorded despite a slight dip in per capita spending

Tourism revenue in Cyprus reached €74.6 million in January 2026, up from €69.2 million in January 2025, representing annual growth of 7.8%, according to figures published by the Statistical Service based on its Traveller Survey.

Per capita spending edged down slightly, falling 0.7% to €613.26 compared with €617.65 in January 2025.

Polish tourists were the largest single market in January 2026, accounting for 18.6% of all arrivals, with an average daily spend of €72.81. Israeli tourists were the second largest market at 18.1% of arrivals and recorded the highest daily expenditure of the three leading markets, spending an average of €157.31 per day. Visitors from the United Kingdom came third, representing 15.8% of arrivals and spending an average of €70.99 per day.
