Air connectivity between Cyprus and Europe has been restored, according to an announcement by Hermes Airports, after several flights that had been temporarily suspended due to developments in the Middle East resumed in recent days.
The resumption of services has strengthened connectivity through the Republic of Cyprus’s two international airports, Larnaca and Paphos.
Airlines from the Lufthansa Group – including Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Edelweiss and Eurowings – along with British Airways, easyJet and Transavia have restarted flights to and from both airports.
Emirates resumes Larnaca–Dubai route
At the same time, Emirates resumed its daily Larnaca–Dubai service from Saturday, restoring direct connections between Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates.
According to current airline schedules, 102 flights are expected to operate at Larnaca airport and 36 flights at Paphos airport on March 9.
