Bank of Cyprus Launches AI Assistant "Danae"

The Bank of Cyprus has unveiled its first AI-powered digital assistant, allowing customers to get banking information and carry out selected services without speaking to a bank representative.

The Bank of Cyprus has launched its first artificial intelligence-powered digital assistant, named "Danae", as part of efforts to provide faster and more convenient customer service.

Through the new assistant, customers can submit questions about banking products and services and receive answers without having to contact a member of staff for routine information.

According to the bank, Danae can provide information about customer accounts and explain the various services offered by the bank.

Among its practical functions is the ability to freeze a bank card, allowing customers to take immediate action through the digital service if necessary.

The new platform uses artificial intelligence to communicate with users, following the model of digital assistants already deployed in other sectors, including the government's digital assistant.
