Amor Beach Restaurant Brings Sunrise to Sunset Dining to Limassol

From sunbeds and coffee at breakfast to sushi and sunsets by night, Amor covers every hour.

A month into its life on the sand at Grand Resort, Amor Beach Restaurant has already done what most new openings spend a full season chasing: it has made itself a habit. It's the kind of place you mean to visit once and end up back at within the week, less for any single dish than for how effortlessly it carries you from a 09:30 coffee to a midnight cocktail without ever asking you to move too far from the water.

A day that starts on the sand

From 09:30, the beach side of Amor does the quiet, unglamorous work that most seafront spots get wrong: comfortable sunbeds and day beds, a proper coffee, something cold when the heat sets in, and a beach menu light enough that you never feel you have to choose between the sea and lunch. Nothing about it demands your attention, which is precisely the point.

Where it earns its name

The shift from beach club to restaurant proper happens quietly from 13:00, when the kitchen turns to a modern Mediterranean menu built around fresh fish and seafood, alongside premium sushi and sashimi, familiar Mediterranean plates and a solid selection of meat dishes. It's a broader net than most beach restaurants attempt, and to its credit, it doesn't feel like it's trying to be everything at once so much as covering enough ground that no table leaves disappointed.

The room does the rest

The design leans on natural materials, earthy tones and understated burgundy accents, which sounds like a lot of adjectives until you're actually sitting in it and realise the room isn't trying to compete with the view, it's framing it. That restraint is what makes Amor read as relaxed rather than merely expensive, and it's why the space holds up just as well for a solo coffee as it does for dinner.

After dark

Once the sun drops, the mood shifts with it. Daily afternoon and evening DJ sets, signature cocktails, a solid list of premium spirits and a considered wine selection carry the space into the evening, and this is arguably where Amor separates itself from the daytime beach-club crowd it could easily have settled for being.

Worth the trip in August

With August marking the peak of the season, Amor is stepping into its busiest stretch with what feels like a genuine daily reason to show up, whether that's an early swim, a long lunch or a sunset that doesn't need much else around it to work.
