DISY will today announce the reappointment of Charis Georgiades as chairman of the board of the Glafcos Clerides Institute, and of Irena Georgiadou as vice-chair, according to information obtained by "P". Party leader Annita Demetriou is continuing the reorganisation of DISY, strengthening her team of associates and drawing on party officials.

New faces in the "shadow cabinet"
The same information indicates that on Wednesday the DISY leader will proceed with appointments of new persons to the Government Work Monitoring Council. For example, Nicoletta Constantinou, who was elected a member of parliament in the Paphos district, will be replaced, while other positions may also be created.
Elena Kousiou Hadjidimitriou takes on key role
Today the DISY leader announced Elena Kousiou Hadjidimitriou as the party's new deputy press spokesperson. Ms Kousiou succeeds Fotini Tsiridou, who was re-elected a member of parliament in the Limassol district and took over the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee.

DISY on a reorganisation course
DISY is proceeding to make use of party officials and parliamentary candidates who were not elected. The leadership's aim is the further consolidation of DISY and the creation of a broader team of associates around the party leader.
On 10 June, DISY leader Annita Demetriou announced the appointment of the party's press spokesperson, Onoufrios Koullas, as executive director of the party. Mr Koullas continues at the same time as the party's press spokesperson. This was followed by the announcement from party headquarters on the continuation of its cooperation with Giorgos Hadjigeorgiou in the position of secretary of International Relations.
At the same time, the DISY leader announced that Margarita Kaimaklioti, an associate of MEP Loukas Fourlas, will continue as deputy secretary of International Relations. It was also announced that Christodoulos Ioannou, an associate of MEP Michalis Hadjipantelas in Brussels, will remain in the International Relations team.
