A tunnel on the Paphos-Limassol motorway will remain closed to traffic heading towards Limassol during daytime hours until Friday, June 19, due to roadworks.
According to the Public Works Department, the works are expected to be completed on Friday. Until then, the tunnel will be closed daily from 8am to 7pm.
Traffic travelling towards Limassol is being diverted to the opposite carriageway, which will operate with two-way traffic for the duration of the works.
Police have urged drivers passing through the area to remain cautious, drive at low and safe speeds, keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead and follow the temporary road signs in place around the worksite.
