The Department of Meteorology issued on Wednesday a yellow warning for high temperatures on Thursday, with maximum temperatures expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius inland.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the warning will be in effect from 1400 to 1630 local time on Thursday.
