Three petrol stations, three pharmacies, two small supermarkets and two kiosks were targeted across Paphos early on Saturday. Property worth approximately €4,000 was reportedly stolen, while the cost of the damage has yet to be calculated.
Four masked suspects sought
Paphos Police Assistant Director of Operations Michalis Nikolaou said the incidents occurred in different parts of the city between 3am and 5am.
Initial police inquiries indicate that four people may have been involved. They reportedly had their faces covered and were all travelling on the same motorcycle.
Police launched intensive investigations after receiving the reports and are assessing evidence and information in an effort to identify and arrest those responsible.
