The British Bases Police have confirmed 30 arrests over the past seven days, including three for driving under the influence of drugs.
Summer operations saw officers conduct 20 road-safety campaigns, issue 33 Fixed Penalty Notices and 34 written cautions.
Most recently, during a traffic stop in the Akrotiri area on August 30, a driver tested positive for cocaine and opium, whilst being over the legal alcohol limit.
The subsequent investigation saw officers seize a small quantity of a white substance believed to be cocaine and the passenger of the vehicle was arrested for being in possession of a small quantity of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
Earlier in the week on 26 August, both Akrotiri and Dhekelia recorded a case of driving under the influence of drugs.
In Episkopi, the driver tested positive for methamphetamines and cannabis, with the vehicle search uncovering a small quantity of the latter, drug paraphernalia and a knife.
Three individuals were initially arrested during the investigation, with one passenger identified as being illegally resident on the island.
