The "No Child Without a Coat" initiative will return for a sixth consecutive year, collecting children's coats for families experiencing financial difficulties ahead of the winter season.
The campaign runs from 4 to 14 November 2026 and aims to gather children's coats in good condition for redistribution to children in need.
The initiative was launched by former Aglantzia mayor and current Nicosia MP Andreas Constantinou and is being organised for a fifth consecutive year in collaboration with the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation.
Where and when to donate
Members of the public can donate coats from Wednesday 4 November until Saturday 14 November 2026 at a dedicated collection point outside the Vienna Bakery on Kyrenia Avenue, in Platy Aglantzia.
Organisers are asking residents to donate children's coats that are no longer needed but remain in good condition.
Appeal to the public
The campaign seeks to provide practical support to children and families struggling with economic challenges.
Andreas Constantinou and the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation have issued an open call for public participation, encouraging people to donate a children's coat and help ensure that no child is left without warm clothing this winter.
