Temperatures reached 31°C in Nicosia and at Larnaca Airport on Saturday, according to weather data published by the Meteorological Service following its 12:00 UTC (3pm Cyprus time) observation. The figures cover the period from 8pm Cyprus time on Friday until the time of transmission, with humidity recorded at 12:00 UTC. In the capital, measured at the Athalassa station, temperatures ranged from a low of 19°C to a high of 31°C, with humidity at 44%, the lowest on the island. Larnaca Airport recorded a low of 21°C, the highest overnight minimum of the stations, with humidity at 53%.
Coast and mountains
Along the coast, Limassol New Port reached 30°C after a low of 17°C, while Paphos Airport recorded a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C, both with humidity at 53%. In Frenaros, temperatures ranged from 18°C to 29°C with humidity at 58%, and in Polis from 17°C to 27°C with humidity at 68%. The coolest conditions were in the Troodos mountains, where Prodromos recorded a high of 22°C and a low of 11°C, with humidity also at 68%.
