Marios Georgiou came within touching distance of a Commonwealth Games medal in the men's all-around final, before missing out by the narrowest of margins.

Marios Georgiou came close to securing a medal in the men's all-around final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Cypriot gymnast missed out by just 0.050 of a point, finishing fourth in the final with a score of 78.950.

The bronze went to Australia's Jesse Moore with 79.000, silver to Canada's Felix Dolci with 79.450, and gold to Reuben Ward with 79.650.

Giorgos Angonas also competed in the same event's final, finishing 14th.
