At least three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in Israeli strikes across Gaza, according to local health officials.

At least three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to health officials in the Palestinian enclave.

Doctors said two people were killed and six wounded in two separate air strikes in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza. A third person was killed in an Israeli strike on the town of Al Musandar.

The Israel Defense Forces had not immediately commented on the reported attacks.

Israel maintains that Hamas has been rearming and launching attacks in violation of the ceasefire agreement. In recent weeks, it has intensified strikes against the Palestinian militant group.

Hamas denies carrying out attacks or rebuilding its military capabilities and accuses Israel of undermining the ceasefire in Gaza.

Ceasefire under strain

The Israeli military continues to control approximately two-thirds of Gaza.

Most of the enclave's population of more than two million people is now concentrated in roughly one-third of the territory, living amid widespread destruction, largely in makeshift tents and damaged buildings.

According to Palestinian health officials, at least 1,580 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire came into force in October 2025.

Israel has said that four soldiers have been killed during the same period.
