The Nicosia District Local Government Organisation has launched a survey to assess public experience and satisfaction with the district’s Green Points, inviting residents to take part through an anonymous questionnaire already underway.

The initiative aims to systematically record users’ views in order to evaluate the performance of existing facilities and identify areas for improvement in both service and waste management.

The survey focuses on capturing user experience and satisfaction levels, with the goal of enhancing how these sites operate. It is open to anyone who has visited a Green Point at least once, with responses to be used exclusively for research purposes.

Green Points are organised facilities where the public can dispose of specific types of household waste free of charge, including electrical appliances, furniture, mattresses, garden waste and other bulky items.

In the Nicosia district, such facilities operate in Strovolos, Ergates, Alampra, Linou, Astromeritis and Peristerona, covering a significant portion of the population.

Authorities also remind the public that Green Points are strictly for household waste and do not accept materials from professional or commercial activities.

Residents who have visited a Green Point are encouraged to spend a few minutes completing the anonymous questionnaire and contribute to improving the service:
