The Tax For All system will be temporarily unavailable on Thursday, May 7, and Tuesday, May 12, due to scheduled work, the Tax Department has announced.

According to the department, the service will be suspended at 13:00 on Thursday and at 07:30 on Tuesday.

Following a decision by the Tax Commissioner, the deadline for submitting VAT returns and paying VAT due for the period ending March 31, 2026, has been extended to May 20, 2026. The same extension applies to the submission of the VIES recapitulative statement for April 2026.

After May 20, 2026, the VAT return, VAT payment and VIES statement will be considered overdue and will be subject to penalties. These include a €100 fine for late submission of the VAT return, an additional tax of 10% on the VAT due and a €50 fine for late submission of the VIES statement.

The Tax Department apologised for any inconvenience and thanked the public for its understanding and cooperation.
