The Independent Authority Against Corruption will issue two major investigation reports within the first two months of 2026, according to its president, Charis Poyiadjis, who spoke to CNA.

Tax Department report due in January

Pogiatzis said the first report, expected in January, concerns the Tax Department and relates to older cases under examination by the Authority.

“State Mafia” report expected in February

A second report, linked to the book “State Mafia”, is anticipated to be completed by February.

Pyiadjis noted that he could not comment on any additional investigations. He added that the Authority has now adopted a policy of issuing public statements only once each inquiry is fully concluded.
