An unidentified man was found dead on Tuesday afternoon in the coastal area of Avdimou–Paramali, in Limassol, during ongoing search operations.
According to information from the police, the discovery was made in the context of investigations into the disappearance of Russian national Vladislav Baumgertner, who has been missing since January 7. At this stage, however, authorities have not confirmed whether the deceased man is the same person.
The body was found in an area that falls under the jurisdiction of the British Bases.
