A person was taken to Larnaca General Hospital with injuries that police believe may have been caused by a knife.

Police said they were informed at around 5pm about an injured person in Larnaca. The individual was transferred to Larnaca General Hospital for treatment.

The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department is leading the investigation and is seeking information. Police said the inquiry is still at an early stage.
