Arson Attack on Vehicles Amid Heightened Police Alert in Limassol

Two luxury cars destroyed and six others damaged in early morning fire

Authorities in Limassol are investigating a suspected arson attack in the Germasogeia area, at a time when police remain on heightened alert following the recent arrest of three individuals linked to a criminal organisation operating in locations connected with luxury vehicles.

The fire broke out at around 4:00 a.m. at a luxury car sales premises in Germasogeia owned by two men aged 33 and 22.

The blaze was extinguished by the Fire Service, but two luxury vehicles were completely destroyed. Six additional cars located inside the premises also sustained damage.

Police investigations are ongoing, with officers examining closed-circuit surveillance footage in an effort to identify evidence related to the incident.
