A post-mortem examination has found that the person discovered near a burning vehicle in Avgorou on Saturday morning died from charring.
The examination was carried out on Monday by forensic pathologist Nikolas Charalambous.
DNA samples collected
According to the findings, the person’s death was caused by charring. Samples were also collected to establish their identity through DNA testing.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are continuing.
