On Monday, February 2, 2026, Limassol will host the Cyprus Peloponnese Wine Festival at Carob Mill, bringing together producers, professionals, and curious wine lovers for a full day dedicated to one of Greece’s most dynamic vineyard regions.

Rather than a formal showcase, the festival unfolds as a living map of the Peloponnese today. Twenty-five carefully selected wineries from Greece’s largest vineyard zone will pour wines that speak of altitude, microclimate, indigenous varieties, and modern winemaking philosophy. PDO and PGI labels sit alongside experimental and contemporary expressions, offering a broad yet coherent picture of where Peloponnese wine is heading.

From vineyard identity to the glass

Visitors will be able to taste emblematic Greek grape varieties alongside wines that reinterpret tradition through precision, sustainability, and terroir-driven approaches. The focus is not only on heritage, but on momentum: how Peloponnese producers are redefining their place in the international wine conversation while staying rooted in their landscapes.

Throughout the day, winemakers will be present, creating space for direct conversation, questions, and exchanges that go beyond tasting notes. For professionals in hospitality, retail, and media, the festival offers insight into trends shaping Greek wine today. For enthusiasts, it is a rare opportunity to travel across the Peloponnese through the glass.

A masterclass perspective

A key moment of the day will be the invitation-only masterclass led by Sotiris Neofytidis, the only Master Sommelier in Cyprus. Addressed exclusively to wine professionals, the session will explore Peloponnese wines through an international lens, combining global expertise with regional depth.

Signature Picks: guided discovery

From 14:00 onwards, the festival opens up an additional layer of exploration with “Signature Picks – Open Tasting by Sotiris Neofytidis MS.” This parallel experience features a curated selection of wines chosen as defining expressions of both their producers and the Peloponnese vineyard as a whole.

Delivered in a free-tasting format and guided by professional sommeliers, Signature Picks is open to both industry professionals and wine lovers, offering a more focused journey through standout labels without losing the relaxed rhythm of the festival.

Why it matters

The Cyprus Peloponnese Wine Festival has become a reference point for anyone interested in the evolving identity of Greek wine. It connects Cyprus directly with one of Greece’s most influential wine regions, encouraging dialogue, discovery, and a deeper understanding of how tradition and innovation now coexist in the Peloponnese.
