The 2nd Music Festival of the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia opened with a concert by Alkinoos Ioannidis at a packed Paralimni Municipal Amphitheatre "Kyriakou Pelagia." The opening concert, organised by production company Roll Out Vision Services, also featured Cypriot musicians Yiannis Koutis, Marios Takoussis, Lefteris Moumtzis and Nikolas Tsangaris.
Free concerts continue across the municipality until October
The festival continues with concerts across all municipal districts of Paralimni-Deryneia, as well as in the seaside resort of Protaras, running until 13 October 2026. All events listed below have free entry, making the series a useful addition to any summer itinerary in the area.
Monday 17 August, 20:00 — "Nights Like These, With a Moon"
Dimitris Mesimeris and Freideriki Tobazou perform at the events square between Fig Tree Bay and Vrysi beaches, part of the "Summer Nights" programme, held in cooperation between the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia and the Municipality of Nicosia. Sponsored by the "Panicos Chatzichambis" Foundation.
Tuesday 25 August, 20:00 — "Saxophone Festival"
The Cyprus Saxophone Orchestra performs at the events square beyond Fig Tree Bay beach, near the Nausicaa hotel.
Tuesday 8 September, 20:00 — Tribute to Vicky Moscholiou: "You Don't Know How Much I Love You"
Liza Theofanous, Katerina Paraschou, Eirini Pelagia and Marina Verzanli perform at the Deryneia Municipal Amphitheatre.
Friday 11 September, 20:00 — "Love Songs"
Andri Karantoni, Michalis Chatzimichail, Petros Koulloumis, Michalis Koulloumis, Dimitra Chatzimichail, Yiorgos Zannetos and Eleni Koki perform at the Acheritou Municipal Square.
Tuesday 13 October, 20:00 — "The Poet as River," Marking 100 Years Since the Birth of Pieris Pierettis
Petros Koulloumis, Michalis Terlikkas and Michalis Koulloumis close the festival at the Frenaros Municipal Amphitheatre.
