The Jacksons will perform in Cyprus for the first time on Friday 23 October 2026, with Marlon Jackson, one of the original members of the Jackson 5, leading the show at Monte Caputo in Limassol. The organisers describe the concert as a premium music experience, celebrating the timeless hits and legacy of one of the most famous musical families in the world.
A family catalogue spanning five decades
Marlon Jackson will be joined on stage by leading performers from the West End production of "Thriller" and Broadway's "MJ the Musical". The current touring show features Mitchell Zhangazha, who recently starred in MJ The Musical, and Haydon Eshun, who played the lead in the West End's Thriller for over 10 years.
The audience can expect classics from both the Jackson 5 and The Jacksons eras, including "Blame It on the Boogie", "Can You Feel It", "I Want You Back", "ABC" and "I'll Be There". The evening will also include a special segment in tribute to his brother Michael and his musical legacy.
Still on tour
The Cyprus date forms part of an international run for the group. Marlon and his brother Jackie are the two original Jackson 5 members in the current line-up, following Jermaine's departure from the group in 2020 and the death of Tito in 2024. After Limassol, the group heads to the UK for dates in Manchester, Cardiff, Wolverhampton and London in November.
Who is Marlon Jackson?
Marlon David Jackson was born on 12 March 1957 in Gary, Indiana, one of ten Jackson siblings. He joined his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Michael in the Jackson 5 in the mid-1960s and became known as one of the group's most accomplished dancers, contributing to the choreography that defined their stage performances.
After their years with Motown, the brothers continued as The Jacksons, returning to the top of the charts with disco-era hits such as "Blame It on the Boogie" and "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)". Marlon remained with the group through the landmark Victory Tour of 1984.
He pursued a solo career in the late 1980s, releasing the album "Baby Tonight" in 1987, which reached No. 22 on the US R&B albums chart. He later built a successful career in real estate in Southern California.
The four eldest brothers reunited in 2012 for the Unity Tour, their first tour together since Michael's death in 2009. As a member of the group, Marlon Jackson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
