Tripartite Social Summit in Brussels Focuses on Quality Jobs

EU leaders and social partners meet to address investment gaps and strengthen labour markets

The Tripartite Social Summit is taking place today in Brussels, with discussions centred on key issues including investment for a dynamic European economy and the creation of quality jobs.

The summit serves as a platform for the exchange of views between EU institutions and European organisations representing social partners.

High-level participation

The meeting is co-hosted by Ursula von der Leyen and António Costa, with the participation of Nikos Christodoulides.

Also attending are Roxana Mînzatu, employment ministers from the Council Presidency Trio, as well as representatives of European and national social partner organisations.

Focus on investment and jobs

Cyprus’ Minister of Labour and Social Insurance is expected to intervene during the summit on the topic “Investment for a vibrant European economy and quality jobs.”

His intervention will focus on ways to address investment gaps across the European Union and support the creation of sustainable, high-quality employment.

The discussions are expected to contribute to shaping EU policy approaches aimed at strengthening economic resilience and labour market outcomes.
