The team of Cypriot Who’s Who is preparing a new international landmark edition titled "Cypriots Worldwide" with the aim of showcasing Cypriots who have distinguished themselves abroad and strengthening the bonds of the global Cypriot community.

This initiative follows the earlier publications Greek Cypriots in the UK (2005) and Greek Cypriots Worldwide (2009), which documented the journey and achievements of Cypriots abroad and helped preserve the history and cultural heritage of the diaspora.

The new edition will include Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots, Maronites, Armenians, Latins and individuals of mixed heritage. It seeks to highlight excellence across fields such as entrepreneurship, the arts, media, science, education, sports, philanthropy, public service and innovation.

Cypriot Who’s Who has previously presented its work internationally at the Hellenic Centre and the Cypriot Community Centre in London, with the participation of notable members of the diaspora including current President Nikos Christodoulides, former President Demetris Christofias, Lord Anthony Adonis, Peter Andre, Dr. Linda Papadopoulos, Peter Polycarpou, diplomats and other prominent figures.

Its publications have featured internationally recognised individuals such as Demis Hassabis, Tracey Emin, Stelana Kliris, Marcus Edwards and Tonia and Antigoni Buxton.

"Through carefully curated profiles in our books and on our platform, we seek to document personalities who inspire, elevate and shape the global Cypriot community. Our publications have now become a reliable source of information, a connecting link for Cypriots worldwide and an important archive for future generations," said Michael Yiakoumi of Cypriot Who’s Who, speaking to CNA.

Alongside the printed edition, the digital platform has been created. It serves as both a nominations gateway and a dynamic diaspora hub featuring news, reports and community updates.

Nominations for the new edition "Cypriots Worldwide" are now open. Cypriots from all communities may either apply themselves or be nominated by someone else. All submissions will undergo an evaluation process.
