Genikes Insurance is supporting the demanding work of the Cyprus Fire Service once again this year by providing electrolytes and energy bars to assist its members during prolonged and demanding operations.
In addition to the above, Genikes Insurance has donated individual operational equipment backpacks to the Special Disaster Response Unit (EMAK), which will facilitate the transport and use of essential equipment by the Unit’s members when responding to rescue operations.
This initiative is particularly significant during periods of heightened wildfire risk, when members of the Fire Service are often required to operate for extended periods under extremely challenging conditions and high temperatures.
The Chief Fire Officer of the Fire Service, Mr. Nikos Logginos, stated:
