JPB Cyprus Holdings Seeks to Acquire Genesis Logistics

The competition authority has received notice of the proposed takeover of the Larnaca-based freight forwarding company.

 

The Commission for the Protection of Competition has received a merger notification concerning JPB Cyprus Holdings Ltd’s proposed acquisition of the share capital of Genesis Logistics Ltd.

The transaction involves a Cyprus-registered investment company and a freight forwarding and logistics operator based in Aradippou, Larnaca district.

The prospective buyer

JPB Cyprus Holdings Ltd is registered in the Republic of Cyprus and operates in the investment sector, both directly and through its subsidiaries. Its activities include investments in real estate.

Genesis Logistics

Genesis Logistics Ltd is also registered in Cyprus and specialises in international freight forwarding and logistics.

Founded in 2000, the company is headquartered in Aradippou and owns modern warehouse and office facilities covering a total area of 6,000 square metres. The premises are located at a strategic road transport hub in Cyprus.
