Summer Conditions Set to Continue With Temperatures Reaching 33C

Clear skies are forecast through the week, with isolated mountain showers possible on Wednesday.

 

Tonight will be mainly clear, with localised patches of mist or fog possible in the early morning hours, particularly in the east. Winds will blow from the northwest to northeast at a weak force 2 to 3 Beaufort, with the sea calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 16C inland and along the northern coast, around 18C along the remaining coastal areas, and around 12C in the higher mountain areas.

Tomorrow will again be mainly clear. Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest at a weak to moderate force 3 to 4 Beaufort, strengthening locally in the afternoon to a fresh force 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach around 33C inland, around 28C along the southern and eastern coasts, around 26C along the western and northern coasts, and around 22C in the higher mountain areas. Tomorrow evening will remain mainly clear, with light northwest to northeast winds at force 2 to 3 Beaufort.

On Wednesday, locally increased cloud cover in the early afternoon may bring isolated rain in the mountain areas. Thursday and Friday are expected to be mainly clear throughout. Temperatures are not expected to change significantly over the coming days, remaining close to seasonal averages.
