A 22-year-old delivery rider was injured in Limassol after being struck by an object allegedly thrown at him while he was riding his motorcycle.
According to a complaint he filed with police, the incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday as he was travelling on a road in the city.
The rider told police that the object was thrown from a nearby street where a group of young people had gathered and struck him in the head.
The 22-year-old was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors found he had suffered a fractured nasal bone and a laceration to the head. He was discharged after receiving first aid treatment.
Police officers visited the scene and carried out examinations following the complaint.
The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the case.
