Police are investigating a case involving a break-in, robbery, assault and theft after an incident in Nicosia district on the evening of 7 November.
According to the information under investigation, at around 8.30 p.m. more than ten people allegedly entered a home in Strovolos unlawfully and attacked three residents, aged 22, 24 and 25. The perpetrators allegedly stole the residents’ mobile phones, as well as an amount of money from the 22-year-old’s room.
The 24-year-old and the 25-year-old went to Nicosia General Hospital, where they underwent examinations and received treatment. They were subsequently discharged.
Police officers carried out investigations at the scene and collected evidence. During searches in the area today, one of the three stolen mobile phones was found in a field near the home.
The Nicosia CID is investigating the case.
